We welcome your request for membership information in our Chamber of Commerce.

The Rhinebeck Chamber of Commerce is part of a national organization representing the business community at large and your concerns and needs at the local level. What does your membership pay for? It pays for the many services offered by the chamber and overall efforts focusing on three main objectives:

1. Seeking out and administering membership services that support and benefit local businesses, and creating networking, referral and growth opportunities
2. Working closely with the many aspects of the Rhinebeck community to bring residents and commerce together in mutual support
3. Carefully developing Rhinebeck’s “destination” image with Dutchess County Tourism and attracting more than 600,000 visitors to Rhinebeck each year (tourists spend as much in a day as residents spend in a week.)

Along with your membership comes access to health insurance and discounted business services, the Information Cottage and telephone referral systems, professionally published and widely distributed collateral material, the newsletter, electronic links through e-mail and the website, advertising, community holiday events and award-winning Village lighting, street flowers, meetings, postage, staff, and the equipment necessary to do business.

Membership rates are now figured on a sliding scale, based on the number of employees in each business. A deduction is applied to not-for-profit organizations, as the hospital and area nursing homes are essential to the health of this community and are some of the largest employers in Rhinebeck.

To calculate your 2008 annual investment:

• Find the number of employees in your business on the list below. (2 part time = 1 full time)
• Complete the form(s) with your current information, including your business e-mail and website address for your listing and a link to www.rhinebeckchamber.com.

• Return the form(s) and your check (or the credit card (MasterCard & Visa Only) information form), by mail (P.O. Box 42, Rhinebeck 12572) or by hand, to the office at: 23F East Market St.
